The c. £1m project, completed in 2020, involved the refurbishment of a vacant shop unit to provide ground floor retail and office accommodation over the first and second floors. Substantial repair work was carried out to the structure and roof. In particular, the front façade timbers were treated and replaced in isolated areas. Internal wooden lintels were replaced with reinforced concrete lintels, and the windows to the front elevation were also replaced.
Internal refurbishment included new mechanical & electrical installations, new internal doors, glazed screens, curtain walling, flooring, wall coverings, ceiling finishes, and general redecoration throughout.
