Contract Awarded to Refurbish Lurgan Care Home

Through a competitive tender process, a c. £1m contract to conduct multi-element improvement work to Manor Court and Nightingale Lodge in Lurgan has been awarded to QMAC Construction by Radius Housing Association.

The project involves the refurbishment of bedroom en-suite bathrooms, the replacement of internal fire doors and screens, fire compartmentation of roof space voids, fire alarm and electrical upgrades, and redecoration.

This is a particularly challenging project as the work must be phased to minimise disruption as the facility will remain fully operational throughout.

Work commenced on site in June and is scheduled to take approximately seven months to complete.
