The project involved the fast-rack refurbishment and fit-out of a restaurant at the Ulster University Belfast campus. The work resulted in a refurbished Academy bar / restaurant on the existing ground floor within Block BD.
The work comprised:
- Internal demolition.
- Alterations, modifications, and refurbishment of the existing bar / restaurant area including new external doors, the replacement of the floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, as well as the replacement of the bar and counter.
- Reconfiguration of the washrooms.
- Testing and commissioning of the new mechanical and electrical services.
At an event on 22 November 2023, Ulster University held the official relaunch of Academy, which provides a unique offer in Belfast’s vibrant restaurant scene.
