Completed in 2023, the project involved the fast-rack refurbishment and fit-out of a restaurant at the Ulster University Belfast campus. The work resulted in a refurbished Academy bar / restaurant on the existing ground floor within Block BD.
The work comprised:
Internal demolition.
Alterations, modifications, and refurbishment of the existing bar / restaurant area including new external doors, the replacement of the floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, as well as the replacement of the bar and counter.
Reconfiguration of the washrooms.
Testing and commissioning of the new mechanical and electrical services.
At an event on 22 November 2023, Ulster University held the official relaunch of Academy, which provides a unique offer in Belfast’s vibrant restaurant scene.
